It's been a difficult year for many with the coronavirus pandemic, but one person who is keeping positive is Pete Wicks.

The reality star, who has signed up for The Celebrity circle with pal Sam Thompson, has said that lockdown gave him to reflect on what's important in his life.

Speaking to OK! Online, the TOWIE star said: "I've spent a lot of time thinking in lockdown and it makes a massive difference.

"As much as this year has been terrible for so many reasons for so many people, you can take a lot from it," he explained.

"Hopefully a lot of people will come out of this whole pandemic as a better person because it's given them a lot of time to reflect."

The 32 year old went on to reveal that he hasn't lived in the moment previously and really enjoyed what he is doing, which he aims to change moving forward.

"I work so much and spend so much time trying to achieve different things, that I never enjoy what I'm actually doing and I think that's what I've learnt the most this year.

"You never know when all of that's gonna be taken away from you so you should try to enjoy everything regardless of where it will lead to," Pete shared.

When asked if he has any New Year's resolutions for 2021, the television personality said: "I stopped making New Year's resolutions a few years ago, just because I don't think it should be a yearly thing, stuff you want to do, you shouldn't wait until New Year's to do it. You should just get on and do it.

"A lot of people make New Year's resolutions and by January 3rd, they're back to being the same person they were the year before, it doesn't make much difference.

"Next year I think is going to be a big year, this year has been so terrible anyway, that a lot of people are gonna wanna live their lives in a different way and appreciate things a lot more.

"Travelling is something I really wanna do, if it all opens up.

"Travelling and taking a bit of time to go to places I've always wanted to go, like Cambodia and Bali, and places like that I've not been to. I want to take some time out to do that," Pete revealed.
