Ruth Langsford melted hearts as she shared a sweet video of herself visiting her mum Joan on Mother’s Day as she was forced to greet her through a window.
The This Morning presenter, 60, revealed that, while she wanted to visit her mother on the special day, she would be following government advice to distance yourself from others, particularly the elderly and vulnerable.
The 60-year-old took to Instagram to post the video, which shows the Loose Women star planting kiss on the window before they press their hands up against each other.

“Locked down but not forgotten! Happy Mother’s Day mum… love her!,” followed by a heart emoji.
In the clip, Eamonn Holmes’ wife can be heard saying: “Give us a kiss, Happy Mother’s Day.”
She then adds: “It is odd isn’t it? We miss you.”
Ruth’s fans were clearly emotional over the clip, with one writing: “Ahh this brought a tear to my eye. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Presenter Kate Thornton added on the clip: “That made me cry! Happy Mother’s Day to you both x.”
While Ruth’s Loose Women co-star Saira Khan added of the video: “Ahhh Ruth. made me bloody cry.”
Earlier in the day, Ruth had shared a touching video of her mum to celebrate the day alongside a throwback picture of them together.
She wrote alongside the image: “Wish we could be out in the sun together today but sadly not to be this year…
“Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Mums out there, but especially to mine… the best in the world.”

It comes after Ruth pulled out of hosting duties on This Morning earlier this month, with Eamonn revealing she had fallen ill.
The Irish host revealed he would be presenting their usual Friday show alongside Rochelle Humes instead.
Taking to Instagram to share a snap of them together, Eamonn shared the news as he spoke on behalf of his wife.
Eamonn, 60, wrote: “In 4 Ruth. The Bad News is Ruth a bit under the weather today.
“The Good news is Rochelle and I will pair up again. A delightful friend and colleague and Always a joy to be around.”
