Time to heal: Scott Disick opened up to Kourtney Kardashian about his decision to go to rehab to deal with ‘past trauma’ in a teaser for next week’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

Kourtney sat down on her couch with her dog to take a call from Scott in the clip.

He seemed sad, telling the mother-of-three: ‘I was just thinking… This whole COVID, staying in, no structure, it’s just doesn’t work for me. It’s making me feel like I just can’t handle staying home not working.

‘Recently all I’ve been doing is like trying to find things to do like doing this doing that and just like renting a house for an escape and then that turned into a total s**t show with paparazzi. It’s like “Okay, this is no sanctuary at all.”

He explained further in the confessional, sharing: ‘You know with everything going on I’m just tired. In my mind I’m thinking “I wasted all this time. I can’t have any privacy, I can’t have any time by myself. This is ruined.”

‘I just can’t handle having nothing really to do and the truth was I started feeling more and more anxious more and more depressed, like I was gonna do something bad if I didn’t figure something out or take myself out of this position. I think now is the time to work on it.’

Disick lost both his parents in 2013, just three months apart from one-another.

‘I just want to be the best person I can  be for my family,’ he went on.

He went on to tell Kourtney about a place he’d been recommended that ‘specifically deals with past traumas.’

‘I just want to learn how to deal with everything that right,’ he said.

Surprised: In her own confessional Kourtney said she was surprised but supportive of Scott’s decision

Kourtney agreed she was fine taking the kids for the month Scott would be away.

Talking to the confessional, Kardashian admitted she was ‘caught a little off guard’ by her ex’s decision.

‘For the first time Scott isn’t being asked to go away, he isn’t having an issue with alcohol or drugs and it’s his idea so I think it feels really different and I want him to be the best that he can for my kids and for himself and for me and so i’m more than happy to support him in any way that I can this time.

This time, I think it’s really bringing up important work that we all have to do,’ she concluded.
