The public have called on Prime Minister Boris Johnson to make June 21 a Bank Holiday so they can celebrate the end of lockdown.
The Prime Minister announced his roadmap out of lockdown yesterday evening, which could see all coronavirus restrictions end by June at the earliest.
If it goes to plan, nightclubs will reopen and large events will resume with big crowds on June 21 – the first time since last March.

And now, eager Brits are hoping to celebrate their first night of freedom with a bang.
One person tweeted: "June 21st should be a bank holiday if you ask me."
Another tweeted: "@BorisJohnson what do you think about declaring the 21st of June, a NATIONAL Bank Holiday? I think it makes perfect sense."

And a third posted: "They may as well make the 21st June a bank holiday 'cause no ones going work are they?"
Celebrities including Jess Wright, Dr Alex George and Gemma Atkinson also took to social media to celebrate the news that lockdown restrictions will start lifting.
Sharing a snap of pet pooch sleeping peacefully, former TOWIE star Jess wrote on Instagram Stories: “How I’ll sleep tonight thinking about 21 st June.”

Dr Alex added an event into his phone diary in 21 June, writing: “Getting my life back.” While Gemma shared a hilarious meme and wrote: “Me on the 21 st June after a fresh wax, moisturised with nails and lashes on point.”
The Prime Minister announced his plan to ease restrictions on Monday. Schools will open on March 8 and two people from different households can meet outside.
He also confirmed that on March 29 groups of two households, or groups subject to the rule of six, will be able to socialise outside.
Pubs will be allowed to open outside from April 12, while gyms, hairdressers and barbers can reopen.
From May 17 pubs and restaurants can serve customers indoors. Sports stadiums can reopen to allow up to 10,000 people watch matches or concerts and two households can mix indoors overnight, subject to the rule of six.
In June all coronavirus restrictions are hoped to be removed.
