Stacey Solomon took to Instagram this morning to tell fans she was taking a break from social media for the day. The Loose Women star, who boasts an impressive 3.5 million followers, said she was putting her phone in a drawer as some days it was difficult to ignore nasty comments.

Mum-of-three Stacey, who is no stranger to documenting her homelife on social media, regularly shares motivational and positive messages with her fans.

However, this morning she spoke candidly about her feelings after receiving nasty messages online.

Stacey said she was having a “strange morning” and was finding it difficult to ignore the nastiness.

In a lengthy post which she shared on her Story, the Loose Women panelist wrote: “Having a strange morning this morning. Some days I just wake up on the wrong side of my brain…”

The ITV presenter went on to say: “I always do my best to ignore nastyness because deep down I feel sorry for people who want to hurt others or try to bring them down… I feel awful for how sad they must be deep down.(sic)

“But some days it’s not so easy to ignore and the nastyness gets in,” she continued.

“All part of being human I suppose,” the TV star added.

Sharing news of her social media break, Stacey added: “Anyway I’m going to put my phone in a drawer again today and shake it off.”
