The Truth About Tiffany Trump’s Engagement Ring
January 19, 2020 was a bittersweet day for the Trump family. Not only was it former President Donald Trump’s final day in office, but it was also the day that his daughter, Tiffany Trump, announced that she was engaged. The younger Trump daughter broke the news in an Instagram post, writing, “It has been an honor to celebrate many milestones, historic occasions and create memories with my family here at the White House, none more special than my engagement to my amazing fiancé Michael! Feeling blessed and excited for the next chapter!”
Trump’s longtime beau, Michael Boulos, also posted an engagement announcement on Instagram. “Got engaged to the love of my life!” he wrote. “Looking forward to our next chapter together.”
Boulos proposed with quite the impressive sparkler. While Trump didn’t post pictures of the ring herself, the store that sold Boulos the engagement ring posted some on social media and also provided more details about the stunning ring.
Michael Boulos proposed to Tiffany Trump with a massive ring
“The stunning 13+ cts Diamond Ring with an Emerald Shape Center Stone G color VVS1, flanked with 2 Trapeze Cut stones, crowning the beautiful love story of golden couple @tiffanytrump and @michaelboulos,” wrote Samer Halimeh New York on Instagram. They also posted a tribute to the couple on Facebook, writing, “Because love is simply worth it… Congratulations to the power couple Tiffany Trump and Michael Boulos.”
Diamond dealer Samer Halimeh himself reportedly helped Boulos choose the ring, which jewelry expert Denis Stepansky estimated to be worth as much as $1.2 million. “This is a high-quality diamond with a high carat weight, which seems about right for Tiffany’s celebrity status,” Stepansky told the Daily Mail.
A source told Page Six that Boulos popped the question at the White House’s Rose Garden and likely asked for the then-president’s blessing before doing so.
