Tommy Lee Says Mötley Crüe Stadium Tour ‘Still A Go’
Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has revealed that the band’s previously announced “Stadium Tour” is “still a go.”
Mötley Crüe’s 31-date “Stadium Tour” with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts is currently set to begin June 18.
Lee told Billboard that the trek has not been canceled or postponed despite almost all major concerts, festivals, films and tours being canceled or rescheduled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
“Everything’s still a go,” Lee said. “We’re all in constant communication. [Bassist] Nikki [Sixx] and I have been in several production meetings. You’re talking multiple stadiums, so it’s like two kids in a candy store putting together something people are going to walk [away from] saying, ‘Are you f–king kidding me?!’ That’s our mission right now, and it’s definitely headed in that direction.”
