War Child Fundraiser Offering Items And Experiences From The 1975, Ed Sheeran & More

Charity organization War Child UK is making an urgent plea for donations to help raise funds for children facing coronavirus in war zones.

The Emergency Coronavirus Crowdfunder event offers the chance to bid on “designs, items and experiences” donated by superstars across the arts and creative industries.

The items include signed film and music memorabilia. The collection features a meet-up with The 1975 that includes a handwritten lyric sheet from the band and a signed guitar from Ed Sheeran.

The proceeds from the event will be spent to provide children in conflict zones with food, hygiene kits and educational materials.

The event also features items from Emilia Clarke, Duran Duran, Liam Gallagher, Coldplay, Jamie XX and Jamie Dornan.

The six-week campaign hopes to raise £300,000 ($382,252).

Carey Mulligan, the Global Ambassador for War Child UK, said the positive support she received from peers to contribute to this campaign has been overwhelming.
