Rapper Wiz Khalifa has packed 35 pounds (15.8 kilograms) of muscle onto his famously thin frame, while training with a jiu-jitsu master.
The See You Again star has revealed his buff new look is all thanks to mixed martial arts expert Rigan Machado, who has been training Wiz at a gym in Los Angeles.
The hip hop superstar told Bleacher Report he first teamed up Machado just to get a few fighting tips, so he could look after himself, adding the weight gain was a bonus.
“My cousins train jiu-jitsu and stand-up as well,” Khalifa said. “I just got tired of getting my a** whooped, so I figured I would learn how to fight”.
Now weighing in at 175 pounds (79.3 kilograms), Wiz admits he loves his new look: “I was cool with being skinny before, but, as a 30-year-old man, I like myself with more weight”.
