In fact, Amber likes these products so much that she quickly found out she couldn’t be without them when she went into the Love Island villa last year, and had a secret supply shipped in.
“The leave-in conditioner and the curl cream, I had them sent in,” she says. “If you watch back you can see the little orange lids!”
The Love Island winner, who is now a Cantu Beauty ambassador, also had lots of other helpful styling tips to help fellow curly girls with their regimens.
She advised those with curls to “avoid” dyeing their hair as it can cause damage – adding that she now loves her natural hair colour and would avoid colouring it again.
As bleaching the hair strips the pigment from strands, it can be a very damaging process. Curly hair can already be notoriously dry, so drying it further can cause breakage.
This £16 hair accessory promises to keep your curls or blow-dry looking flawless on day two – but does it work?
But if your hair is already bleached then Amber says to “use masks and keep your hair healthy by getting nourishing treatments regularly.”
She leaves hair masks on for up to 45 minutes to allow the product to properly sink into her strands.
When it comes to her night time routine, the star admits she has changed it up over time to find what works for her. She used to just put it into a bun before hitting the sack but now she puts her hair into a hair wrap and sleeps on a silk pillowcase.
“It’s improved it and there’s not too much frizz,” says Amber.
