Bridesmaid slams VILE Hawaiian-themed dresses on Don't Tell The Bride
Groom plans Hawaii-themed beach wedding on a blustery British shore on Don’t Tell The Bride – to the horror of his fiancée and her bridesmaids who brand their floral dresses ‘disgusting’
- Kirsty, from Weymouth, is set to tie knot to Leon and dreams of indoor wedding
- Groom-to-be organises beach wedding and has to get bride an ‘absorbent’ gown
- Bridesmaids are left fuming and refuse to wear bridesmaid dresses on big day
A frustrated bridesmaid party branded their Hawaiian-themed floral dresses ‘disgusting’ in Don’t Tell the Bride – before refusing to wear them on the big day.
In Monday’s episode of the E4 show, bride-to-be Kirsty, from Weymouth, is adamant she wants to get married inside due to the ‘bad British weather,’ while Leon has his heart set on an outdoor beach wedding.
After visiting his desired location, Leon insists he can only get married there, but it leaves him with one small problem – he needs to find somewhere else for the reception as the tide could come in and wash away the entire party.
And as if that isn’t a big enough problem, he’s faced with the wrath of Kirsty’s bridesmaids when they’re presented with their bright dresses.
‘They’re vile,’ one of them exclaims. ‘I’m not going to be a bridesmaid if that’s what I’m wearing.’

Another asks: ‘Are you taking the p***,’ before saying: ‘I don’t care, you can put these in the bin because these are awful.’
The location of choice means Leon has to consider different ways to get the bride-to-be to the altar – including a kayak and a pedalo.
And after getting soaked in the latter during a test run, the groom decides to upgrade to a speed boat.
But while the mode of transport is sorted, Leon has no clue what Kirsty is after when it comes to her dream dress.
The only thing he does know is that the bride, who has always dreamed of a slinky lace gown, will be getting soaked from the sea on the way to the wedding – and so he sets the dress maker the challenge of finding the perfect dress.

‘The bigger the dress, the better,’ he says, before asking: ‘Is it absorbent?’
And things go from bad to worse when Leon teases Kirsty’s bridal party with a spa weekend, only to instead surprise them with a one night stay at a bush craft centre in the woods – sleeping in tents.
‘I hate him…I’m not happy, exclaims Kirsty, as she gets visibly upset.
After the groom-to-be hangs up on the frustrated hens, the bride-to-be decides it is not for her and storms out of her own hen do, before heading home.
Meanwhile, Leon sets off on his stag do in Greece – but with just one week to go, he realises he’s forgotten to send out the wedding invites, and hasn’t yet booked a reception venue.
Finally, just in time, he manages to find a venue in a local garden which luckily has space free for that the weekend.
But when the big day arrives, Kirsty’s worst fears come true when the heaven’s open – but will she say yes….or will the day be a total washout?
