The Chinese word for Goat (yáng) is sometimes translated to Ram or Sheep, which is why it can be difficult to find your horoscope if you were born in the Year of the Goat.

You may see the Goat represented as a Ram or Sheep, but they are the same zodiac sign.

The Year of the Goat is supposed to be about finances and prosperity.

If you are a Goat-born person, you have many positive attributes but some negative ones too.

Goats aren’t the loudest sign in the zodiac and they don’t particularly stand out from the crowd, but they have the potential to be very talented at what they do.

Marites said: “Goat-born people possess the meek and quiet characteristics of their zodiac animal sign.

“In a crowd, they will show respect and listen to their leaders and because of their obedience, they are loved by others.

“If they are lucky to meet good leaders who will see and hone their skills and talents, the Goat will distinguish themselves at a young age.”

Goats keep their head down and tend to be very sensible.

Marites said: “With their mild nature, they tend to keep a low profile and just proceed with their tasks if they believe them to be right without much care about what others may think.

“They are obedient children, devoted marital partners and make considerate parents.

“They are prudent with their finances who find every way of setting aside something for the future.

“In a manner of speaking, they can be pessimistic as they tend to believe that things are bound by destiny.”

Even though goats don’t love being the centre of attention, they can take a compliment.

Marites said: “Goats enjoy being pampered and love to be showered with compliments from their loved ones.

“They are not very expressive with their feelings. If they so choose, they can overcome this weakness and achieve more satisfaction in their personal relationships.”
