A health coach has shared her recipe for delicious high protein Caramilk hotcakes that are only 315 calories.

Bec Hardgrave, from Brisbane, used only five ingredients to create the hotcake batter and topped her breakfast with two treats for a tasty finishing touch.

She first blended together 30 grams of oats, then poured the fine flour into a bowl with 60 grams of vanilla Yopro yoghurt and half a teaspoon of baking powder.

Then she added one egg yolk and two whipped egg whites into the same bowl with two drops of liquid sweetener, then mixed the batter together.

Once the batter was smooth she spooned it into a hot pan to form hotcakes and flipped them on both sides before stacking them on her plate. 

Bec topped her hotcake stack with a no added sugar salted caramel sauce and crumbled half of a Cadbury Caramilk Flake on top. 


She added 30 grams of oats flour into a bowl with 60 grams of vanilla Yopro yoghurt and half a teaspoon of baking powder, then added one egg yolk whites and sweetener into the bowl

‘These are so fluffy and incredible, I cannot believe how they turned out,’ Bec wrote. 

Her simple recipe contains 22.4 grams of protein and uses no banana or protein powder which makes them an instant crowd pleaser. 

Foodies and Caramilk fans have shared their excitement over Bec’s recipe as many have commented on how tasty the protein-packed hotcakes look.

How to make Bec’s high protein Caramilk hotcakes

Ingredients: 

30g Oats, blended into flour

1/2tsp Baking powder

2 Egg whites, whipped 

1/2 Cadbury Caramilk Flake

60g Vanilla Yopro yoghurt 

1 Egg yolk 

2 Drops liquid sweetener

Natvia no added sugar salted caramel sauce 

Method:
