If you’re a fan of MTV’s Geordie Shore, you’ve probably noticed that the stars of the show – particularly the women – look a little different from their 2011 TV debut.

Holly Hagan in particular was famed for her flame-red hair and heavy false lashes, but in recent years has undergone a drastic beauty transformation.

Not only has Holly completely switched up her hairstyle and wardrobe, but she’s also always been very open about exactly what facial fillers she’d had to enhance her appearance.

In a Q&A on her Instagram stories this week, fans took the opportunity to quiz the star about her treatments, with one person dubbing her face “perfect”.

“Do you get any injections under your eyes? If so what? They never have any bags and always look so perfect,” the fan writes.

Holly was quick to reply, claiming that she’s never had any treatment for her under-eye area – but she did explain how she got her full looking lips after ditching fillers.

“I have Botox but no, nothing under the eyes,” Holly says.

“I don’t suffer with bags, but I haven’t had kids yet,” she jokes.

The star then goes on to explain exactly what she’s had done to her face – and it’s actually probably less than you might think.

“So the only filler that I get in my face is in my chin at the moment. I haven’t had my lips done for about four years, same for cheeks, same for nose,” she says.

Without lip fillers, Holly reveals that now she uses a “lip blushing” treatment, which is a type of semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo used to enhance the natural lip colour and give the illusion of fuller lips.

“I just have lip blush and I overline,” she says.

Lip tattooing has been around for quite some time now, however lip blushing is a great alternative for those seeking a more natural finish.

During the treatment, a tiny needle is used to deposit multiple layers of pigment into the skin, shading and lining the lips. The procedure can be used to even out the tone and shape of the lips, and the results can last for up to several years.

The treatment, which costs upwards of £300, is great for people like Holly, who have ditched fillers but still want fuller-looking lips.
