Kourtney Kardashian transforms her Californian home into the North Pole with unbelievable Christmas decorations

Kourtney is the eldest of the Kardashian sisters, however that does not make her the most boring.

In fact, when it comes to Christmas decorations the 41 year old has transformed her home into a North Pole style fantasy in time for the public holiday.

The mother of three took to Instagram to showcase her home's festive transformation, while dressing up as the main characters from the 1997 film Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion with her childhood friend Veronique Vicari Barnes.

In one snap the former girlfriend of Scott Disick is wearing a bright green paisley satin mini skirt and matching boob tube, as well as turquoise tights and white high-heeled shoes.

Her hair falls in luscious curls and she has on bright blue eyeshadow, nude lipstick and a diamante choker.

But what is even more incredible than the outfit she is wearing is the decorations that serve as the set to the photograph.

Kourtney is straddling a large fake polar bear in front of her gorgeously decorated Christmas tree, there is another polar bear upstanding next to her.

On her stone slabbed floor is some white faux fur that serves to look like fake snow. How fabulous!

In another snap Kourtney and her childhood BFF Veronique, who is wearing a similar outfit but in pinky hues, are standing at the top of her grand staircase.

It is decorated with garlands intertwined with multicoloured lights and baubles.

The lighting is reflected like a rainbow on the polished wooden floor and looks magical.

Like most families, the Kardashian gang have been forced to do things a little differently this year and for the first time since 1978, have cancelled their annual Christmas Eve party.

The news was revealed by Khloe Kardashian in a conversation with a fan on social media.

The 36 year old was asked about her plans on Twitter, with one fan writing: "Okay Khloe, you doing the annual Kardashian's Christmas party this year?"

Khloe replied to say that the family have decided against throwing this year's planned party.

"The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA. So we decided that we're not doing a Christmas Eve party this year.
