Kris Jenner: I have to be able to show son-in-law Kanye that ‘I’m here if he needs me’

Kris Jenner showed off her diplomatic skills while discussing son-in-law Kanye West’s Oval Office meeting during a Friday appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

When the TV host brought up the subject, she conceded that Jenner is in a “tough position” when it comes to discussing West’s disjointed, nearly 10-minute monologue from his Oct. 11 meeting with President Trump in which he discussed the lack of male energy in his family, how wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap made him feel like Superman and how he was misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder when he was really just sleep-deprived.  “But at some point, it seems like we have to address (it),” DeGeneres said.

Jenner called West’s stream-of-consciousness soliloquy “very spontaneous,” adding that he brought up hydrogen-powered airplanes, “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, that’s so Kanye.’ ” Still she admitted, “I would rather he share some of that stuff privately. That would be great, but I have to be able to show him that I’m here if he needs me.”
