Newlywed Jack Brooksbank cut a casual figure as he stepped out without Princess Eugenie for an event in London on Tuesday night. 

Mr Brooksbank, 32, was among the guests at a party at Fucina, an Italian restaurant in London’s well-heeled Mayfair neighbourhood.  

Dressed down in a varsity style sports jacket and trousers, Mr Brooksbank beamed as he posed for photos at the vibrant venue.

Meanwhile his wife Princess Eugenie, 28, had apparently opted to avoid the rainy weather and stayed at home instead. 

The couple have kept a low-profile since tying the knot at Windsor Castle last month.

The only time they have been seen in public together since the nuptials was when they joined senior members of the Royal Family for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday party at Buckingham Palace last week. 

Gentleman Jack allowed his new wife to take the front seat as they were driven out of their home at Kensington Palace to attend the glittering party.

Eugenie donned a green one shoulder gown for the proceedings and wore her locks in loose waves, pinned back from her face in a simple style. 

Wine merchant Jack was suitably smart for the occasion in a tuxedo. 

The couple, who first met in Verbier in 2010, tied the know in front of a star-studded congregation at St George’s Chapel Windsor last month.

Robbie Wililams’ daughter Teddy was a bridesmaid while models Kate Moss, Poppy and Cara Delevingne and Naomi Campbell were among the congregation, alongside Demi Moore, Stephen Fry and Jamie Redknapp. 

After lunch hosted by the Queen, the couple celebrated into the small hours at a party at her family home, The Royal Lodge at Windsor. 

Next day there was more partying, at a fairground-themed bash complete with rides and food stalls.
