Mason Disick advises Kim Kardashian not to let North West go live again

Kourtney Kardashian’s son Mason is warming up to her partner, Travis Barker, even telling his cousin North that stepdads aren’t “evil.”

Kim Kardashian recounted the car ride conversation to Kris Jenner on Thursday’s episode of “The Kardashians.”

“His tune has totally changed since the engagement,” the Skims creator, 41, said of her 12-year-old nephew.

“I heard him say to North, ‘You know, getting a stepdad isn’t so bad,’” she explained. “‘You know, they’re not these evil people you see in the movies. It’s just not like that.’”

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum noted that Mason asked to be dropped off at Barker’s studio and was “excited” to see the 46-year-old Blink-182 drummer.

“After hearing this conversation with Mason and North and hearing how he’s getting along with Travis and loving someone else around, I’m like, OK, there’s hope,” Kim, who is currently dating Pete Davidson, said in a confessional.

“One day, I’ll have someone that can come around and hang with the kids,” the KKW Beauty creator explained, referencing her four children with ex-husband Kanye West: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.

Kourtney, for her part, shares her kids with Scott Disick. The former couple welcomed Mason, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7, ahead of their 2015 split.

The Poosh creator, 43, moved on with Barker in 2020, and the drummer proposed in October of the following year.

Disick, 39, voiced his concerns in an episode of the famous family’s Hulu show earlier this month when his kids were not present at the engagement.

“They were upset,” the “Flip It Like Disick” star said. “They didn’t understand why they weren’t there. Hopefully they’re invited to the wedding.”

Kourtney agreed in a confessional, saying that Kris Jenner’s choice to exclude the little ones from the major moment was “not her best” decision.

She added, “I think it would’ve made them feel more included in the decision and part of the surprise.”

While Mason, Penelope and Reign also missed their’s mom’s fake April wedding in Las Vegas, as well as her Santa Barbara, Calif., courthouse ceremony the following month, they did attend her and Barker’s May 22 ceremony in Italy.

Disick, however, did not attend. Instead, the Talentless cocreator traveled amid the festivities, posting via Instagram Stories about a “beach” vacation before partying with friends at a New York City strip club.
