Mums emotional video after feeling pressure to bounce back after giving birth
A mum has spoken candidly about her body image struggles since giving birth.
Tiffiny Hall, a fitness star, recently welcomed her second child Vada into the world with her husband Ed Kavalee.
But the mum-of-two, 37, admitted “it’s not easy” to deal with the “pressure” to bounce back after having a child.
In an emotional video, Tiff said: “I stand in front of my mirror, looking at my new body with my big bump, Vada’s house, and it’s really hard to accept that it’s going to take time.”
The teary influencer, who is also mum to four-year-old son Arnold, explained how “healing takes time”.
She added: “It depends what birth you had too. I’ve got a few stitches and stuff going on and it’s all a bit painful.”
Even though her post-partum journey has been difficult, Tiff is delighted with her baby daughter.
She added: “She’s absolutely beautiful. She’s worth it.”
Fans have praised Tiff for speaking so openly about the struggles of motherhood.
One said: “You and Vada both gorgeous. Thank you for showing women and accurate representation of the recovery from pregnancy.
“It takes time, it’s so worth it of course, but it’s a tough toll on our bodies. But we do recover! “
Another wrote: “Thank you for being so honest about what most women look like after they have given birth.
“It actually means so much – you’re an inspiration.”
And a third added: “Thank you so much for being so real… It's so refreshing that you're normalising post partum recovery for the mums of the future.
“You look amazing and I hope you're feeling ok.”
