Beatrice’s appearance at Sandhurst on Saturday comes after it recently emerged that she is dating multi-billionaire property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

In April this year, Princess Beatrice celebrated her birthday with a crowd of A-listers including Crown Prince Hussein and Misha Nonoo. She is said to have already introduced the divorced father-of-one to her parents, with friends saying they could be engaged very soon.

Beatrice’s romance with Edoardo is believed to have begun at sister Princess Eugenie’s wedding in October, with the pair  enjoying a string of dates before even going on holiday together.

Sources say Edoardo had been engaged for three-and-a-half years to his fiancee Dara Huang – the mother of his two-year-old son Wolfie – and that pair continued to live together for weeks after he began a relationship with the Queen’s granddaughter.

A friend told the Mail On Sunday: ‘Edo and Dara were engaged for three-and-a-half years.

‘He met Beatrice years ago when they were children, but he met her again at the wedding of Eugenie. Even after the romance began he continued to live at the family home with Dara and their child.’
