Princess Diana was undoubtedly the queen of style back in the 1990s but there's one outfit that particularly stands out amongst the crowd: the revenge dress.
Back in June 1994, tensions were high as a tell-all documentary aired where her estranged husband Prince Charles confessed to his affair with his now-wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
And instead of staying indoors, unable to face the awful music of that night, Princess Diana decided to dress up in her LBD – now dubbed the "revenge dress" – for the Vanity Fair party.
While the off-the-shoulder, tight-fitted black silk dress made a huge statement that night, it wasn't the only dazzling element to her outfit as she donned a gorgeous sapphire pearl choker necklace for the occasion.
The sapphire was originally a brooch that was a wedding gift from Elizabeth the Queen Mother in 1981 that Diana had turned into the pearl necklace.
As it's the month of the sapphire, it only seemed right for someone to take a good look at the incredible piece of art and that's exactly what Steven Stone Jewellers did.
Leading diamond expert Max Stone believes the stone is roughly 70 carats, which is over five times the size of the stone in her engagement ring.
With Diana's legacy in mind and the size of the sapphire, Max believes the seven-strand pearl choker could now be worth up to £100,000,000.
"Princess Diana was a clear fan of sapphires and just like her engagement ring, she only wore the most beautiful deep, blue stones," the expert said.
He continued: "Looking at images of the huge stone, it looks as though it's around 70 carats in weight, maybe even heavier.
"With that in mind it could be worth up to £100,000,000 if sold today. This is probably one of the most expensive jewels from the entire Royal collection."
Princess Diana's choker is now in the Queen's collection, which gets loaned out to members of the Royal Family on request.
Meanwhile, her engagement ring – which is estimated to be around £390,000 – now sits safely on the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton's finger as Diana's son Prince William chose to propose to her with it at the foothills of Mount Kenya.
