There seems to be no limit to the amount of beauty hacks we learn from TikTok and it’s easy to lose hours scrolling through the content.
However, the latest hack we’ve discovered on the app might just be the easiest one yet – and best of all it’s totally free! All you need to do is double up your lip product to use it as your cheek colour.
TikTok user Beautyinfo shows how she multi-tasks her lipstick as a blush in her quick video viewed by over 43k beauty fans. She applies her chosen lippy to the back of her hand and uses a brush to apply it to the apples of her cheeks.

She says: “I like using liquid lipstick because it’s super long-wearing,” but also notes that regular lipstick formula also works well.
Beauty writer Akesha Reid put a few different types of lip products to the test to see how well the hack worked across the board.
We compared this new £12 Primark hair curler to a £130 styling tool – with these surprising results
I love to use beauty products in unexpected ways. Give me a blusher and I’ll use it as an eyeshadow and I’ve been known to fashion a brown eyeliner into a lip liner.
But surprisingly I’ve never used a lippy as a blush before. I’m ashamed to call myself a beauty journo right now.
However, the hack makes perfect sense and I found you can create lots of different looks using a variety of finishes.
Using liquid lipstick, as @beautyinfo suggests, creates a long-lasting satin-look finish. Because of the texture, I used a stippling brush to pat it into my cheeks and it gave a pretty diffused flush.

Using a brighter liquid lipstick will help the colour pop more on your cheeks. With this formula I went for Revlon Kiss Cloud in Cherries On A Cloud, £7.99 here.
Traditional lipstick gives a more pigmented look so I used a buffing brush with a more muted shade than the liquid lipstick. My lipstick of choice was CTZN Nudiversal Lip Duo in New York City, £20 here.

My advice is to avoid using fast-drying matte lipsticks for this hack, as they are way harder to blend and can cling to patches on the skin. Though the CTZN lipstick I used is labelled as having a matte finish, it’s actually very creamy in texture and was easy to buff out.
For the easiest look of all, I found coloured lip balms were perfect for an effortless dewy look. You can apply straight from the stick onto your cheeks and pat it in, tapping towards your temples, and it gives a really natural highlight as well as a subtle blush. I opted for DR Paw Paw Multi Purpose Balm, £6.95 here

This hack is so simple, I honestly think blusher might have just lost its spot in my makeup bag.
