A woman stunned fellow social media users when she showed off her Christmas decorations recently.

Charlotte Evans took to Facebook group DIY On A Budget UK to share a video of her efforts, and it is certainly impressive.

She captioned the video: "Some outdoor Christmas lights up. 2020 has been crap so me and my neighbour did this.

"Still need to add more. Apologies for the language, my knee popped out at the weekend, still swollen and sore."

The outside of Charlotte's windows and walls are covered in strings of multi-coloured lights as well as a shooting star and cute archway.

An inflatable snowman sits in her front garden, while two inflatable Christmas soldiers stand either side of her front door.

During the clip, she can be heard saying: "Still got a blow up Father Christmas and a chimney to put up," before panning the camera to her next door neighbour's house.

Many were very impressed with Charlotte’s effort, but one Facebook user posted a hilarious meme and wrote: “My face when I get that electricity bill.”

Charlotte was quick to reply and said: My husband pays the electric. I pay the gas,” followed by several laughing face emojis.

"Looks so good," another person wrote, while someone else added: "How beautiful, we all need cheering up so thank you."

Charlotte revealed that she purchased her inflatable arch in Aldi last year for £19.99 and she bought the lights from B&M and The Range.

Her post comes after another homeowner claimed he was threatened with a £10,000 fine over his festive decorations.
