Amy and Josh were matched by the panel of relationship experts on the latest season of Married At First Sight UK. This season introduces even more singletons to the mix, so the professionals had a lot more work cut out for them. Express.co.uk has looked into whether Amy and Josh managed to make their relationship last.
Where are Amy and Josh from MAFSUK now?
Amy, 34, is a sports journalist from Cornwall and she has made sport her main passion in life.
She loves football and enjoys discussing her favourite team, Chelsea FC, with other fans.
Amy wanted to use the experiment as an opportunity to let her hair down and is keen to find out what love is.
She admits she has kept her sassy facade up for too long and is willing to let her guard down.
Ahead of the show airing, she said: “With Married At First Sight UK, either I’m going to find the love of my life or I’m going to learn a really big lesson from it, which might lead me to the love of my life.”
Going in with a positive attitude, she was matched with Josh, 26, who works in insurance.
He is definitely the sporty type and the other singles have made comments about his physique.
On paper, he seems to be the perfect match for Amy, due to the things they have in common.
Josh is ambitious and competitive, and he would like to find someone who can occasionally put him in his place.
He was also keen to match with someone who likes fitness but does not take themselves too seriously.
At this moment in time, it is too early to say whether the couple lasted until the end of the experiment.
Things seemed positive from the outset, but only time will tell as they are yet to jet off on their honeymoon.
Fans may find Amy familiar as she used to be a glamour model using the alias Brandy Brewer.
One of her last TV appearances was on The Bachelor in 2012, when she tried to win the heart of Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews.
Hopefully, she will be able to find a better match in Josh, despite the eight-year age gap.
Amy is on Instagram and she has given fans a sneak peek of what is to come.
She showed fans her beautiful dress and gave a tour of her pre-wedding hotel, before heading off to meet the experts.
Not giving anything away, she said: “Will it be happily ever after?” Fans will have to tune in to find out.
In the trailer, she is seen walking down the aisle, taking a deep breath as she approached her husband-to-be.
Some fans have already guessed who her partner will be, convinced Josh was the perfect match.
Josh is also on Instagram and the athlete has shared a photo of himself waiting for his bride.
The caption says: “You heard ‘what the f*** am I doin…’ Tune in tomorrow if you wanna see how it goes down!” [Sic]
Ahead of the series launching, he said: “Who would have thought ey! Big man like me walking down the aisle.”
Hopefully, the pair are able to find enough in common to form the perfect partnership.
Although, they will need to meet each other’s families and move in with each other first.
Married At First Sight UK airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
