Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway’s launch date is announced by ITV

Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway will be returning to our screens very soon.

The TV duo’s entertainment show has finally had an official launch date announced by ITV.

Declan Donnelly and Ant McPartlin, both 45, will be on hand to present the show and entertain viewers for an hour and a half at 7pm on Saturday 20 February.

It’s understood the hit series will take over from The Masked Singer, which is set to wrap up this weekend.

Confirmed guests for the show including father and son Jamie and Harry Redknapp as well as Gary Barlow, who will be on hand to put on an impressed End of the Show Show.

ITV have also promised that Ant and Dec have another fantastic giveaway up their sleeves to treat viewers, which will be unveiled during the first show.

The TV channel also revealed that Fluer East will return to SNT with a brand new segment while Stephen Mulheron will also be coming back to put the TV besties through their paces with Ant vs Dec challenges.

As well as our weekly fix of the show, Saturday Night Takeaway will also have an exclusive show on the ITV Hub, which will consist of seven 10 minute episodes and will feature interviews and behind-the-scenes content.

Although Ant and Dec will be returning to the SNT studio, the audience will not. But, a group of around 300 people will attend virtually tot are part in the show’s segments, including the popular Win The Ads game.

ITV’s press centre announced the news on their Twitter account as they wrote: “Confirmed: Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway returns Saturday 20 February at 7pm on ITV”.

Fans were quick to share their excitement as one wrote: “Can’t wait”.

Meanwhile another said: “Best news Iv heard this year”.

And a third wrote: “Yes! Thankfully! Something entertaining!”
