CAROL Vorderman has been dubbed the "sexiest woman alive" after posting a picture of herself in bed.

The 61-year-old This Morning and Celebrity Gogglebox star thrilled her army of fans when she posted an early-hours snap.


Carol appeared without any make-up in bed, writing simply: "Morning! 💙."

The star later appeared on This Morning alongside fellow news reviewer Matthew Wright, with the pair posing for a shot together.

Posing in a blue dress and white boots, she told fans she was there to talk about I'm A Celeb, which she appeared on in 2016.

One appreciative fan replied to the photo, writing simply: “Sexiest woman alive!”

The TV star has often spoken about how she wears what she likes, defending herself in a recent podcast.

Speaking to Netmums, Carol spoke about the moment that made her determined to keep wearing revealing clothes if she wanted to.

She explained:  “When I was 39, not my grandmother, not my mother, it was the 21st Century it was the year 2000.

“I went to the BAFTAs wearing a short dress, not a micro skirt, they made a Kilroy Show on the BBC and they flew in this dress in from Paris.

"It was an Ingaro dress, and the dress arrived and this huge debate in the studio was not is this a nice dress, but should a woman age 39 wear a dress above the knee?"

She added: "Oh, the vitriol was incredible.”
