Claudia reveals Ken's sex habits in filthy Coronation Street moment

Coronation Street viewers were left in stitches as the soap inadvertently shared a few secrets about Ken Barlow’s sex life.

We weren’t prepared in the slightest.

During a scene at the retirement home (of all places!) Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska) was seen admitting Ken likes to ‘slip in a few lengths’ in the afternoon.

Ken, played by William Roache, clearly wanted some time to himself as he mourned his pup Eccles, with Claudia going to meet Norris Cole (Malcolm Hebden) for a (not so) innocent coffee.

With Norris asking where Ken was, Claudia replied: ‘At the pool I think. He likes to slip in a couple of lengths in the afternoon.’

‘No mean feat for a man of his age,’ Norris added.

Naturally, fans couldn’t handle it.

‘Norris polishing his helmet and Ken likes to slip in a couple of lengths of an afternoon – was this episode written by someone from the Carry On production team?!’ one asked.

‘Ken, you dirty dog,’ one more joked, with another pointing out: ‘Watching Corrie and the first thing I hear is a Ken likes to slip a couple of lengths in on the afternoon. It’s a changed program’.

Hey, at least he’s keeping himself busy in his old age.

It wasn’t the only comment in the episode that had viewers shocked, with Norris telling his pal: ‘Come on Ken you’re the only person who’s had the guts to stand up against Charles.

‘I’m just one of the pipe men in life. Sitting round the campfire with the crew polishing my helmet.’

Anyone else not quite sure what to do with themselves?

On the cobbles, Ken has been mourning the loss of Eccles the dog, who became unwell and had to be put down.

Eccles, who was much loved by the late Blanche and Deirdre, was a staple of the Barlow family and Emma Brooker (Alexandra Brooker) is blaming herself as she was looking after Eccles when she became unwell.

As Ken processes the news, at Stillwaters, he becomes aware of crooked Charles making disparaging and unkind remarks over his lost pet – and this means war.

The drama of it all.
