Coronation Street fans convinced Adam Barlow will have a shock affair with Jude's wife Angie
Angie bonded with Adam while freelancing at his law practice – and now fans of the hit soap have started to notice the pair have genuine chemistry.
The spark was evident during last night's episode of the hit ITV soap – after Adam paid a visit to the florist while Angie was working.
Angie convinced Tracy Barlow to let her do the florist bookkeeping, and solicitor Adam clearly liked Angie's special way with numbers.
Viewers have since taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on the potential coupling.
One wrote: "Angie and Adam are well gonna get it on!"
Another said: "Hands up who else thinks that Adam and Angie will get it on if and when she finds out about Jude’s job lies?"
A third stated: "I'm sensing a spark between Adam & Angie."
The romance could get off the ground next week when Adam lends Angie a shoulder to lean on when she find out about husband Jude's lies.
Angie turns up at Jude's workplace to find that he's been lying about his job – he's not a marine biologist, he simply works in an aquarium's gift shop.
A source told Inside Soap: "Angie really has a lot to learn about the man she married.
"She bonded with Adam when she worked for him at his legal practise, and he's happy to listen to her when she cries on his shoulder.
"With the madness of what happened, Angie needs to talk – and she loves that Adam is so easy on the eye.
"There's a definite spark between them."
Sensing an opportunity to grow closer to Angie, Adam will offer her more freelance accountancy work – and she's quick to accept.
We'll have to wait and see if the pair keep things strictly business or if their relationship blossoms…
