Coronation Street's Tyrone Dobbs makes a difficult decision ahead of Fiz Stape's exit
Coronation Street‘s Tyrone Dobbs makes a major decision over troublesome Hope tonight (December 3), finally realising that her bad behaviour can’t go on.
Hope (Isabella Flanagan) has been causing problems for her family for most of the year, but Tyrone and Fiz have often appeared to bury their heads in the sand when it comes to tackling the issue.
In tonight’s Corrie double bill, Hope crosses the line yet again when she decides to exact her revenge on her great-grandmother Evelyn.
When helping to take Evelyn’s beloved pet dog Cerberus out for a walk, Hope spies the opportunity for mischief as Tyrone (Alan Halsall) becomes distracted for a moment.
Hope does a disappearing act with the pooch and later announces that she put Cerberus on a tram to Rochdale.
As Evelyn frets over her missing pet, Hope declares that she’s not even sorry and Tyrone decides that it’s time to sort this situation out once and for all.
Fiz and Tyrone discuss Hope’s recent behaviour with a therapist, but Fiz is shocked to discover that Tyrone has already found a suitable special school for Hope in Birmingham.
Although Fiz is initially against the idea, this ultimately paves the way for her to leave the Street for a while – moving to Birmingham with Hope for the foreseeable future.
Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz, is currently on maternity leave after welcoming the arrival of her second child Hilda in October.
Coronation Street airs these scenes tonight at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
