Corrie fans baffled as staggering value of Ken Barlow’s iconic home exposed
Coronation Street viewers were gobsmacked as Ken Barlow's (Bill Roache) house was put on the market during tonight's episode.
The Coronation Street cast member is selling his house after deciding to move to a retirement home, and his daughter Tracy (Kate Ford) is desperate to buy it.
But fans were stunned as the three bedroom house was said to be up for sale for just £120k, and Tracy was only willing to pay £105k.
They rushed to social media to slam Tracy for missing out on a "bargain" house. as one fan wrote: "120 grand for a house? That's a bargain".
Another added: "The fact that the ASKING price for Ken’s at least 3 bed house is just £120,000 is just so heartbreaking. London is wild."

A third tweeted: "£120,000 for a house in Weatherfield ….? You’d be lucky to get a caravan down here".
A fourth wrote: "£120,000 is a lot of money… Everyone in London crying."
Property website Zoopla revealed that the average price for a house in Manchester, where Corrie is set, is £203,196, meaning that Ken's house is still well below average for the Northern city.

Viewers were devastated as Ken revealed that he was planning to leave Weatherfield as he is the only remaining character from the first episode, which will celebrate its 60th anniversary in December.
The character is going to live in a retirement village called Still Waters with Claudia.
Bill said about the decision: "Filming that final scene of the episode was very poignant, just Ken and Eccles (his pet dog) and the cobbles.
"He breaks the news to the family next week and they are surprised but very soon Peter and Tracy start squabbling over who will be given first refusal on the house.

"We have already started filming at the retirement complex and I am really enjoying it, it always feels different when we film away from the street.
"It seems fitting that Ken makes this decision in the 10,000th episode but it will be strange not filming in number 1 after all this time."
