Corrie fans in tears of laughter over Mary’s hilarious Nando’s one liner
Mary Taylor left viewers in stitches tonight over a brilliant Nando’s quip.
In a hilarious episode of Coronation Street riddled with one liners, one stood out as the clear winner for soap fans.
Mary had rocked up to the Bistro to talk to Tracy about her hen do, which Beth had been supposed to be planning.
But Mary, of course, had her own alternative suggestions.
This led to her being sat with miserable Adam Barlow for a brief moment as she told him why she was there.
"I am here to moderate Beth’s more ultra suggestions," Mary said primly.
A bemused Adam asked: "Like what?"
To which Mary replied seriously: "I’m not a snob, Adam – I’ve been to Nando’s."
This left viewers spitting out their tea.
One tweeted: "Steve and Mary get the best lines "I’m not a snob, I’ve been to Nandos" CLASSIC #corrie #coronationstreet @itvcorrie."
While another commented: "I’m not a snob, I’ve been to Nandos” I LOVE Mary! #CoronationStreet #Corrie."
A third wrote: "I’m not a snob, I’ve been to nandos. Ha! Love Mary, she’s the best thing about #Corrie these days."
*Coronation Street returns on Wednesday at 8.30pm on ITV
