Dec Donnelly arrives at BAFTA TV Awards without partner Ant McPartlin

Dec Donnelly has arrived at the BAFTA TV Awards without his presenting partner Ant McPartlin.

Two of their shows, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway and Britain’s Got Talent are up for the entertainment programme prize.

Of course, Geordie star Dec was forced to host SNT on his own following Ant’s drink-drive arrest.

It was the first time Dec had worked on his own since they first teamed up on the set of children’s TV show Byker Grove back in 1988.

And although he seemed a little nervous at first, he was praised for his bravery at going it alone.

Dec hosted the final two episodes of the show without Ant, and will lead the proceedings solo when Britain’s Got Talent goes live.

The star arrived with his pregnant wife Ali Astall.

He looked dapper in a sharp tuxedo, complete with shiny shoes and bow tie.

He smiled brightly as he posed alongside Ali, who showed off her growing baby bump in a gorgeous silver gown.
