DJ Fat Tony to reveal 'terrifying' clash with Robert De Niro over his daughter
SHOWBIZ schmoozer Fat Tony is to reveal how he clashed with Goodfellas legend Robert De Niro.
The DJ, 54, will star in a Netflix series featuring his scrapes with celebs.
Londoner Tony, whose real name is Tony Marnach, is a long-time pal of supermodel Kate Moss, 46, who he met when she was just 15.
He is also friends with Naomi Campbell, Boy George, Madonna, Sir Elton John and Davina McCall.
But he was not such a big mate of De Niro, 77, when confronted in the 1980s over his antics with the Deer Hunter actor’s daughter Drena De Niro, now 49.
A source said: “One of the best anecdotes involves a night Tony got chatting in a club with Drena.
“They were with friends at Tony’s flat in Soho, where all sorts was going on.
“De Niro got wind of it and appeared hammering at the door with two minders. Tony got the fright of his life.
“Imagine being on the wrong end of a heavy session and De Niro turning up unannounced and extremely angry. It was terrifying.”
The series — likely to be called Fat Tony’s Tall Tales — will start socially distanced filming this week at London locations, including Soho and The Groucho Club.
Netflix chiefs are hoping the show will be as big a hit as Tiger King, which documented American big cat owner Joe Exotic.
The source added: “The series will be funny, though a few celebs might be quaking in their boots.”
