Dog the Bounty Hunter calls new girlfriend Francie Frane 'Babe' during day out in nature

DOG The Bounty Hunter proved that romance isn't dead.

The reality TV star affectionately referred to his new love Francie Frane as "babe" in a video he shared to Instagram.

Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, spent the day fishing at a lake on Saturday.

He flirtatiously teased the new lady in his life – who was off camera – about her lack of fishing prowess and told her he could catch a fish which was "bigger than yours."

However, she had out-fished him and as her fish was captured in a basket, he joked, "Oh it's gone babe."

It comes after he warned fans to "be nice or be gone" after going public with his new girlfriend.

Last week, he reposted a picture shared by Francie and added the caption, proving that he is ready to move on after the death of his beloved wife Beth in 2019.

Francie had posted the snap earlier in April, and captioned the picture: "So excited for this new chapter!"

The Sun exclusively revealed their romance in late March with Dog – real name Duane Chapman – smiling into the camera as he posed with his arm around new girlfriend, a 51-year-old rancher from Colorado.

His daughter Lyssa later shared a picture of the pair after she received a barrage of criticism from fans.

His youngest daughter Bonnie chimed in, and said: "Everyone who's judging my father should sure pray that they never have to lose their loved one and get judged for trying to fill the void.

"Your opinion is invalid. My mother would've wanted him to be happy. Now please shut up and let my dad live in peace."

At the time Dog's daughter Lyssa and close family friend Rainy Robinson told The Sun the reality star is head over heels for Francie – and say they couldn't be happier for the new couple.

The couple have been dating for a few months and met after Dog called Francie's husband Bob to do some yard work at his house in Colorado.

Sadly Francie had to break the news to Dog, 67, that Bob had died several months before Beth – Dog's wife who passed away from cancer last June.

The pair began talking on the phone and became close – and are helping each other deal with the grief of losing their spouses, Lyssa said.

She added: "They are both so happy together and they are good for each other.

"Francie has been very respectful to all the kids – and to Beth's memory – and my dad is the same way with Bob and their children.

"They go to church three times a week and dad is trying to give up smoking – she is a good woman for my dad.

"He's the happiest I've seen him in a long time – he's so in love and wants to spend the rest of his life with Francie."

She added: "They both lost their spouses to cancer so they know what it's like to go through that and they are helping each other through it.

"But at the same time they are being very respectful of each other's grieving process and they're not trying to replace each other's partner.

"Beth would approve – I honestly believe that Beth sent Francie for my dad – I feel like Beth and Bob are up there watching down over them."
Beth died in June 26 2019 after a long battle with throat cancer.

On June 29, friends, family members and fans gathered to say their goodbyes to Beth at a memorial service held in Hawaii.
