EastEnders fans seriously distracted by 'worst drunk acting ever' during explosive Eve and Suki row
EASTENDERS viewers weren't impressed after Walford's newest member Eve Unwin appeared to indulge in one too many drinks.
Joining Albert Square in October, Eve, played by Heather Peace is already making waves on the BBC One soap.
Joining the show as Stacy Slater's wife, she caused a scene in the cafe on Monday night's episode, having had clearly one too many drinks.
Stacy is played by actress Lacey Turner and their marriage is purely platonic to help Eve prove to probation officers that she had somewhere stable to live after leaving prison.
In her short but impactful time on the show, Eve is already a cause for concern and is already fuelling tension between the Slaters and Panesars.
Landlady Suki Panesars discovered that the Slaters snuck into her home when it was vacant and, with concerns about Eve, issued the Slater’s with an eviction notice.
Having had far too much to drink, Eve is seen struggling to stand while verbally attacking Suki in the cafe, which left some viewers struggling to watch the performance.
One user wrote on Twitter: "This is the worst drunk acting I have ever seen. Sitting here cringing."
"Eve acting drunk verses Phil acting drunk. Phil will win every time. #Eastenders," another added.
A third fan said: "Heather peace acting drunk on eastenders is next level cringe."
"Stacey's wife, her drunk 'acting' was appalling #EastEnders" a disgruntled viewer said.
Stacey witnessing it all, eventually dragged Eve home to try and sober her up before the probation officer.
In this episode, some viewers also noticed a Coronation Street lookalike in the background of the scene.
Pouring her a big cup of coffee Stacey and mum Jean put on enough of a convincing show to fool the probation worker.
Pushed to her limits, Suki arrived as the probation worker was leaving and decided to inform Jean and Stacey that they needed to leave their home by the end of the week.
This meant the previously arranged leaving date was scrapped as Suki said she wanted them out immediately.
