EastEnders Luisa Bradshaw White rushed to hospital after bloody knife injury filming Christmas Day scenes

EASTENDERS' Luisa Bradshaw-White was rushed to hospital after a bloody knife injury while filming her Christmas Day scenes.

The Tina Carter actress revealed she put her hand "through" the knives as she filled the dishwasher in Gray Atkins' (Toby Alexadner) home.

However, that dishwasher already has a bloody history – as that's the same one Chantelle was murdered on by evil Gray.

The dishwasher had a real life effect, as actress Luisa said she injured herself on the show.

Watching the tense Christmas Day scenes, a viewer wrote: "i have so much fear for tina right now, not the f***ing knifes [sic.]"

Luisa wrote over it: "I actually put my hand thru them and had to be rushed to A&E whilst the whole crew stood down…."

She added: "There was a lot of blood!"

Another viewer said she should treat the pain with alcohol, Luisa said: "Tequila sorts everything…"

Gray and Tina got embroiled in a bitter row after she said that Chantelle had been planning to leave him in front of his children.

Gray stormed out, but when he returned Tina apologised and had loaded the dishwasher.

However, evil Gray told her that the knives were the wrong way up – and she turned them around so the blade faces up.

Fans will know that Chantelle died after Gray pushed her onto up facing knives on the dishwasher.

Luisa announced she was leaving the soap in October after seven years of playing the character.

The 45-year-old revealed the news on Instagram writing: "Finally the time has come to say goodbye to my EastEnders family.

"I am leaving EE at the end of the year! After 7 awesome years it’s time for me to move on and get excited about other projects!

"I have had the most amazing time on EE and will miss the cast and crew so much. But I am also completely excited about the new adventures that await me.

"It’s been an amazing ride. Being part of the 30th anniversary, the live eps, the Carter family, working every day with my best friends."

She then tagged in the accounts of the actors who play her screen family – Danny Dyer, Kellie Bright and Linda Henry.

Luisa added: "I love you more than anything in the world. Thank you to all the awesome and loyal fans for your support and love of Tina.

"I have appreciated it so much. Keep watching there is lots of drama to come! 💗💗💗."
