EastEnders viewers horrified at the price of a black coffee in the chicken shop

Dennis Rickman was asked to hand over four entire English pounds for a small black coffee in tonight's episode of the BBC soap and it's fair to say that viewers are horrified by it.

They flocked to social media to share their horror about the outrageous pricing.

One tweeted: "4 quid for a f***ing coffee???????… #EastEnders"

A second equally outraged fan said: "£4 for a black coffee? In McClunkys?? You having a laugh?! #Eastenders"

Another said: "4 quid for a coffee, daylight robbery that Eastenders."

A fourth added: "£4.00 for a black coffee in McKlunky's – that's outrageous!!! #EastEnders @bbceastenders."

Even more shocking was the fact that Denny willingly handed over such an outrageous sum for a simple black coffee that didn't appear to come with a side of gold bullion.

You can expect to pay around half that price in a high street coffee shop.

Instead the shop was full of a dodgy gang openly flogging stolen mobile phones in full view of the police.

The gang threw their bag of stolen gear at Dennis and offered him "paper" for it, presumably meaning money but at this point who knows what teenagers actually mean, especially fictional ones.

He decided to hide the bag of stolen goods at his step-dad Phil Mitchell's garage.

Unfortunately for him mechanic Keanu Taylor found the bag while working and discovered Dennis's secret.

It cannot end well in EastEnders.
