Evil Harvey kills missing Sam to cover his tracks in Corrie?
Sam Blakeman’s (Jude Riordan) life is on the line in Coronation Street next week, as Harvey Gaskell (Will Mellor) instructs Sharon Bentley (Tracie Bennett) to dispose of the missing little lad.
Sam was abducted in harrowing scenes on Friday (May 21), as part of Sharon’s plan to lure Nick Tilsley (Ben Price), Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) back to the cobbles.
With all of her previous attempts to do so having failed, she set in motion the kidnapping of the young lad, who was then taken away in the back of the van.
Night fell, and Sam remained alone and scared in the vehicle, and viewers were desperately hoping that he would be found safe and sound.
That’s looking more and more unlikely, however, if this preview clip from Monday’s upcoming edition (May 24) of the ITV soap is anything to go by.
Sharon’s plan ultimately pays off, as Nick – incognito – arrives back in Weathefield in a bid to save his son.
Having seen Nick in the flesh, Sharon calls Harvey in prison, revealing that their plan worked and Nick is back where he belongs.
The drugs baron is pleased that his aunt has finally made progress, but he reminds her that they need to do something with Sam.
‘That kid,’ he said, ‘we don’t need him anymore.
‘We need to get rid! But don’t worry, I’ll sort it.’
Sharon, having evidently grown fond of the little lad, was horrified to hear of her nephew’s plan.
Will Sam be killed by Harvey?
One to watch: Monday May 24 at 7:30pm on ITV.
