Fears for Sheridan Smith as she breaks down and weeps TWICE during Albert Hall gigs

The actress and singer admitted she “lost her mind” after a “crazy” two years during a highly charged performance on Tuesday night.

She also blasted men before telling the sell-out London audience she had a secret boyfriend.

The Cilla star, 36, famously pulled out of West End show Funny Girl in 2016, later citing “stress and exhaustion”.

After singing the Gnarls Barkley hit Crazy, she said: “So guys I obviously sang that song because it’s been quite well documented that I lost my mind for a couple of years.”

The star, who split from model Graham Nation earlier this year, went on: “Do you know what really makes me crazy? I think you will understand, or I hope you girls will, but men, they send me up the wall.

“But it’s true they play games don’t they? And I don’t mean KerPlunk. They play head games.”

The TV star joked that she was knocking back vodka and said at one point: “Oh dear, blubbing already and it’s still the first half.”

One audience member said: “Sheridan seemed very emotional. There were a lot of tears. Some songs she barely finished.”

She stunned the crowd after singing Dinner at Eight by saying: “It’s actually my boyfriend’s favourite.

"Whoops, did I let that slip? Yes, I’ve got a boyfriend. Don’t act so bloody surprised. I met him at a party a couple of years ago.”

She also dismissed rumours she was pregnant by saying she was “just fat” and revealed she almost quit showbiz after the death of her dad Colin in 2016.

But she tearfully told the audience: “You’re the reason I get up. You’re so supportive.”
