GMB's Alex Beresford forced to apologise to to the Queen as he's slated by hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins

GOOD Morning Britain star Alex Beresford didn't get a day off today – being taken to task by both Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins.

The pair objected to the fact he was presenting from Buckingham Palace but hadn't put a tie on.

Charlotte Hawkins told him: "One thing has been noted about your appearance today Alex.

"It's the lack of a tie. I mean, hello? You're right by Buckingham Palace."

Adil Ray, who is fronting the show with Charlotte today, added: "I mean come on. Where's the tie?"

Alex folded his arms and looked off camera before turning back and joking: "Off with his head. I'm so sorry. I will go and find a tie."
