Gogglebox cast’s secret family members you never see on Channel 4 show

Gogglebox has made stars of the UK's funniest armchair critics, with regular families up and down the country becoming household names. in recent years.

Since the Channel 4 series began back in 2013, viewers have grown to know and love each family, as their share tidbits about their personal lives on the show.

However, off-screen, certain Gogglebox stars have children – and grandchildren – that never make an appearance on the screen.

While these tiny tots don't feature on the Channel 4 reality show, they often make an appearance on the stars' social media accounts.

Below, we take a look at some of Gogglebox's secret family members that you never knew existed.

Izzi Warner

Izzi Warner first appeared on Gogglebox back in 2015, joining her sister Ellie on the sofa in their Leeds home.

Away from the cameras, the 27-year-old is actually a proud mum-of-two, with a son, Bobby, and a daughter named Bessie.

Izzi often shares photos of her little ones over Instagram, penning a particularly sweet tribute during the lockdown on this year's Mother's Day.

She wrote: "Mother's Day everyone! This isn't what we had planned for today but there's no place I'd rather be…and I'm not moving all day.

"Thinking of everyone who isn't seeing their mum today for whatever reason sending you lots of love. Hopefully next Mother's Day we will be back out celebrating together."

Accompanying the touching message, Izzi posted a picture of the trio cuddling in bed, enjoying a cosy Mother's Day indoors.

Baasit Siddiqui

The Siddiqui family are originals on Gogglebox, with Baasit, Umar and their dad Sid chatting all things telly from their Derby home each week.

Secondary schoolteacher Baasit is also a dad-of-two, sharing his daughter Amelia and son Theodore with his wife Melissa.

The 34-year-old often posts proud snaps of his family-of-four over social media, as they spend the lockdown together.

Recently, during a family day out, he wrote: "Lots of family fun with these lovely people. Got to love your daily family walk when the weathers this nice."

Little Amelia has been known to make a rare appearance on Gogglebox, joining her dad, uncle and grandad on the sofa.

The Siddiquis have also welcomed an adorable new puppy to the clan – affectionately named Alfie Siddiqui.

The Malone family

The Malones have been a beloved fixture of Gogglebox since their first appearance back in 2014, known for their mouth-watering display of pastries and boisterous pet dogs.

While Tom and Julie and their sons Tom Jr and Shaun are familiar faces on the show, there are several other members in the family.

Tom and Julie are grandparents, as their daughter Vanessa has three children, who regularly make appearances on the family's social feeds.

Working as a critical care nurse during the pandemic, she opened up over social media, writing: "We are so lucky to live with my parents at a time like this.

"Being a single mum who is a critical care nurse I would have really struggled to continue working during this pandemic had it not been for my parents looking after the rascals for me."

Tom Junior often shares sweet snaps with his nieces and nephews, named Saoirse, Brogan and Harley, over Instagram.

In one selfie with little Saoirse, he added the caption: "Saoirse wanted a photo shoot #UncleDuties."

The Malones also have a third son – a hunky bodybuilder named Lee, who runs his own property renovations business.

Pete and Sophie Sandiford

Pete and Sophie are not the only siblings in their family.

They also have a brother called Harry and a younger sister called Lucy who they regularly hang out with, despite their siblings not appearing on-screen.

The whole family also appeared on Talk Talk's ‘This Stuff Matters’ Christmas campaign back in 2017, with Pete’s face being posted all over billboards.

Pete and Sophie joined Gogglebox back in 2018 and previously described being cast on the show as a "pinch-me moment".

Previously talking to The Sun, Sophie said about TV fame: "We can still pop out for milk, but I can always tell when we're on telly because my phone buzzes with new Twitter followers."
