The heartbreaking tributes Sophie Gradon's boyfriend Aaron Armstrong paid to her on social media before his death

The 25-year-old was found dead just days after the Love Island star was laid to rest.

Aaron found Sophie’s body at her parent’s home on June 20.

He broke the news of her passing on social media and paid tribute to her in a string of emotional messages, including one just hours before he died.

The police confirmed Aaron’s death to The Sun Online today with a friend telling us they were “heartbroken”.

In another Aaron hinted he was struggling without the former beauty queen.

He told his friends online: “So I get into bed and all I can smell is Sophie on her side of the bed put my arm under the pillow and find this please everyone share this she wanted me to act on this what her video and u will understand how much it hurts people.

“I’m going to do everything I can to keep this going and stop it brake my heart I love you so much Sophie I will keep fighting for you.”

After her funeral, Aaron told his friends he loved Sophie with all of his heart.

He added: “My beautiful angel I’m absolutely heartbroken I can’t stop crying and I can feel your spirit in my soul RIP Sophie Hannah Gradon.”

As The Sun Online revealed the sad news of Aaron’s death, a police spokesperson confirmed they didn’t believe there was any “third party involvement”.

Friends, fans, and family paid tribute to Aaron on social media, with pal writing: “Hope you’re at peace now Aaron, my heart goes out to your family.”
