Here’s Everything Coming to Netflix in July (and What’s Leaving)

Netflix is about to look a whole lot different come July 2018. While you’ll sadly have to say goodbye to some of your favorite TV shows, get ready for a major binging session on everything that’s new. That ranges from seasons of your favorite shows returning to new Netflix originals to classic movies you already love. Whether you’re ready to watch new Orange Is the New Black or Shameless, make sure to mark your calendars.

July 1

While shows and movies will come and go throughout the month of July, the first of the month will bring some major changes to get started. Get ready for new seasons of your favorite shows, such as Season 4 of Madam Secretary, Season 15 of NCIS, and Season 2 of Queens of Comedy. Plus, Season 8 for both Blue Bloods and Hawaii Five-O will be joining the roster.

Plenty of movie nights will be in order, with the addition of Happy Gilmore, Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III, Scooby-Doo and Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, and Spanglish. Oh, and we’re particularly excited for the addition of The Princess Diaries. Other shows and movies coming on July 1 include:

July 2-5

Some more exciting titles will be added over the next few days. On July 2, you can expect to see Dance Academy: The Comeback, Season 4 of Good Witch, Romina, and Season 1 of The Sinner.

On July 3, you can catch a new Netflix original, The Comedy Lineup. Blue Valentine, starring Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, will become available on July 5.

July 6

July 6 will apparently be the day for Netflix originals. The only title being added this date that isn’t a Netflix original is season 5 of The Fosters. Get ready for all these new titles:

  • First Team: Juventus: Season 1: Part B

July 7-15

As we get through the middle of July, something new will basically be added every day. Scream 4 (coming July 7), Lockup: Extended Stay: Collection 1 (coming July 9), Season 2 of the Netflix Original, Drug Lords (coming July 10), and Gone Baby Gone (coming July 12) are just a few to get excited for.

July 13 will bring quite a few titles, including How It Ends, Jim Jefferies: This Is Me Now, Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain, Sugar Rush, and The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants. Season 2 of Bonusfamiljen, Going for Gold, and The Joel McHale Show with Joel McHale: Part 2 will be added July 15.

July 20

July 20 will be yet another day bringing you all the Netflix originals. Deep Undercover: Collection 3 and Fix It and Finish It: Collection 3 are the only non-Netflix originals joining the list. The new originals include:

July 22-27

Some highly anticipated titles are coming in the later days of July. On July 22, we’ll get An Education and Disney’s Bolt. Netflix film El Aviso (The Warning) and Netflix original Iliza Shlesinger: Elder Millennial will join on July 24. July 27 will bring a ton more Netflix Originals:

  • Cupcake & Dino – General Services
  • Extinction
  • Orange Is the New Black (Season 6)
  • Roman Empire: Reign of Blood: Master of Rome  
  • The Bleeding Edge
  • The Worst Witch (Season 2)
  • Welcome to the Family

July 28-31

July will definitely be going out with a bang with the addition of these new titles. On July 28, get excited for Season 8 of Shameless, as well as The Company Men. July 29 will bring Her and Sofia the First (Season 4).

Netflix original A Very Secret Service (Season 2) will return, as will Terrace House: Opening New Doors: Part 3.

July 1

Although you may have tons of new shows and movies to get excited over, July 1 may be a sad day if you love any of these titles. Entire franchises such as Bring It On and Lethal Weapon will be getting cut. Plus, favorites such as Along Came Polly, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Little Women, Midnight in Paris, and Scary Movie will be gone.

Throughout the month, more movies will slowly fall off the roster. Look out for losing Breakfast at Tiffany’s on July 2, as well as Alpha & Omega: Journey to Bear Kingdom and Real Husbands of Hollywood on July 5.

On July 9, Ratchet and Clank and Serena will say their goodbyes, as will Alice Through the Looking Glass on July 11.

July 14-30

The last half of July will be making even more room for new movies and shows. Wild Hogs will be leaving on July 14. Convergence, Lockup: State Prisons: Collection 1, and Small Is Beautiful: A Tiny House Documentary will all go on July 15.

July 16, you’ll no longer be able to find Changeling or Wanted, and on July 29, say goodbye to The Den.

Finally, on July 30, Netflix will make its last round of cuts. A Cinderella Story, Hurricane of Fun: The Making of Wet Hot, and Swing State will all be sadly leaving the streaming service.
