Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield got stuck in lift in horrific NTAs ordeal

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s night at the NTAs took a bizarre turn when they got stuck in a lift.

The drunken This Morning presenters were trapped in an elevator that wouldn’t stop going up and down.

They were in good company at least as they were joined by TV royalty Paddy McGuinness and Emma Willis.

Holly confessed she didn’t even know they were stuck because she was chatting away to some girls who were shocked to be surrounded by all the celebs.

Phillip managed to capture the hilarious moment in a video as he twirled his camera round to show fans what was going on.

Holly admitted: "I didn’t realise we got stuck in a lift until you told me that.

"I found two ladies in the corner of the lift, that coudn’t believe they were stuck in a lift, there was like Emma Willis and everybody was there all together.

"They were like ‘we just walked into a lift and now you’re here’. we were yabbing away."

Phillip revealed that they were actually stuck inside "for quite some time".

Alison Hammond burst out laughing as she listened to the lift drama.

Phil confirmed to Holly that they went up and down a few times before escaping.

However, when the lift doors did finally open they discovered another issue.

Phil said: "Then the door opened and we realised we were on the wrong floor so we had to go back to where we were in the first place."

Holly then asked the girls she took a selfie with to send in the snap – and they duly obliged.
