Hollyoaks murder fears for Farrah Maalik as she helps Ryan Knight escape

Hollyoaks will be revisiting Ryan Knight’s blackmail over Kim Butterfield’s whereabouts next week as Farrah contemplates helping him escape.

Ryan locked Kim away in a storage room at Hollyoaks High back in February in a bid to stop her exposing his dark secrets.

When everyone became aware that Ryan was responsible for murdering his wife Amy on their wedding day, he turned the tables by bringing Kim’s absence into the equation.

Desperate to get out of prison, Ryan promised to tell Farrah (Krupa Pattani) where Kim’s body was in exchange for her help – something which she starts to seriously consider next week.

As Farrah continues her attempts to persuade Ryan to tell the police where Kim is, she grows more and more frustrated when it becomes clear they’re getting nowhere.

After Farrah pays Tegan a visit in hospital to break the news, a devastated Tegan asks Farrah if she can speak to Ryan herself – confident that she can get some firmer answers about Kim.

Whether Tegan can get through to Ryan remains to be seen, but it’s looking unlikely given that he delivers Farrah another ultimatum later in the week.

Ryan tells Farrah he will only reveal where Kim is if she helps him escape, leaving her to seriously contemplate the idea.

Realising that it’s the only way she’ll ever get closure, Farrah later agrees and is led by Ryan to a deserted forest – nowhere near the school where Kim is trapped.

Fans will have to wait and see what happens to Farrah once they get there, but as it happens, time is actually running out for Kim – who has run out of food and has an infection.

Given that it’s already been confirmed that there will be another death before this story ends, could Farrah be Ryan’s next victim? Or could it be Kim after all?

Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
