Hollyoaks shock as Kim Butterfield shot by Glenn Donovan in horrifying scenes

The former kidnapping victim – who is played by actress Daisy Wood-Davis in the Channel 4 soap – took a bullet in tonight's E4 episode after Glenn tdecided that she was Grace Black's mystery lover.

In tonight’s E4 episode, the revelation of Farrah cheating on Kim with Grace unfolded and Farrah was left desperately trying to make amends.

Understandably Kim was completely heartbroken and demanded answers from her love cheat girlfriend.

But she wished she hadn't asked when the truth emerged that Farrah was with Grace on the second night that Kim was kidnapped.

Kim spent months locked up in a dingy basement after Ryan Knight took her and forced her to keep his secret.

Utterly furious by the betrayal Kim decided to confront Kim, and accidentally sealed her own fate.

Demanding the truth from Grace, she panics her and Grace rushes her into the The Loft to try and explain and keep Farrah safe from a vengeful Glenn.

But it was too late and Glenn had already seen the conversation and jumped to his own conclusions.

After her chat with Grace a forgiving Kim decided to give Farrah a second chance and rushes to The Dog to be with her.

But Glenn was prepared and lurking behind the trees ready to take revenge.

And as Kim spoke to Farrah, he took took aim with the gun and shot her.

Kim is left fighting for her life but will she be safe or will Glenn take more revenge on Grace?
