Hollyoaks star reveals future for Nancy and Darren Osborne

Hollyoaks’ Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) has seemingly found herself with something of a knight in shining armour in old flame Darren (Ashley Taylor Dawson).

The teacher has resolved to prove Charlie Dean’s (Charlie Behan) innocence, but she found herself in an impossible situation earlier this week when she placed the blame for her son’s imprisonment at Sid Sumner’s (Billy Price) door.

With emotions running high, she chucked the young lad’s prosthetic leg in the river, which resulted in Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) threatening her, claiming he’d report her if she didn’t cough up the readies for a replacement.

Darren was on hand to protect his former wife, however, as — mere hours after reminding Nancy of just how good a mother she is — he used the last of his and Mandy Richardson’s (Sarah Jayne Dunn) cash to pay the debt and get Nancy off the hook.

The young man is on hand to support Nancy once more in tonight’s edition of the Channel 4 soap, as he takes her home, but will one thing lead to another?

Will romance ensue?

‘Oh they’re such a dangerous pair, aren’t they!’ actress Jessica Fox told Metro.co.uk. ‘It’s quite possible, you never know. When you put those two together, things tend to happen.

‘If you put those two together and put alcohol in the mix, things definitely seem to happen. You never know… something might be coming along in the future.’

‘I love working with Ash [Taylor Dawson], we have loads of fun working together. So many years, that we have a sort of shorthand in the way that we communicate, but personally I think Nancy could do better!’

Hollyoaks continues Thursday February 11 at 7pm on E4.
