Married at First Sight UK season 6 has been airing since late August on Channel 4’s E4, with new episodes dropping weeknights. So far, the latest season has been more than dramatic, as the show has changed things up to reflect the Australian version. After a number of weeks on-air, fans are wondering how many episodes are left in the season.

How many episodes are in MAFS UK season 6?

So far there have been 16 episodes of Married at First Sight UK season 6, with all the episodes available to watch now on All4.

The next episode will air on Monday, September 27 at 9pm on E4 and once again see the couples thrown into awkward situations.

However, as the show has been airing for almost a month, fans are curious when the inevitable emotional finale will drop.

There isn’t too much longer to wait, as the finale is set to air on October 5, bringing the marriage story to an end.

Once aired, the season will have totalled 21 episodes, meaning there are just five to go between now and the finale.

So far, the season hasn’t been light on drama, with an early exit from Nikita during the first dinner party, setting the tone of things to come.

Nikita left the show for breaking Channel 4’s codes of conduct while off-camera, though no specifics have been given on what happened.

Channel 4 released an official statement that said: “The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

“All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved”.

It also added that her level of aggression “was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.”

Following Nikita’s exit, the couple has continued to face challenges, with subsequent dinner parties proving to be emotionally challenging for the couples.

With just five episodes to go, all will be revealed on who will stay together and who called it quits after the experience.

Some of the stars have been sharing updates on social media, showing themselves return to normal life after the chaotic rollercoaster of MAFS.

Morag shared a snap of the couples together ahead of the final week of the show, minus Matt and Dan.

The post was captioned: “And we are back from our homestays!! Can you guys believe there is only a WEEK left to go

“[Don’t worry] Matt and Dan were on a flight back from Northern Ireland.”

Fans have also been sharing their thoughts ahead of the final week, with many of them taking to Twitter to discuss the show.

@kathrynYO wrote: “Wait we’re at the final commitment ceremony already??? Nahhh this is rubbish, give me Aus style MAFS where it feels like it goes on for about 20 years #MAFSUK.”

“Married at First Sight UK is MADNESS,” added @PTXVI.

“I’ve just started watching Married at first sight UK and boyyyyyyyyyyy, the matchmakers really did some of them dirty,” commented @VivMayOfficial.

Married At First Sight UK continues weeknights on E4 until October 5.
