I'm A Celebrity 2020: Who is Kiosk Cledwyn?
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here viewers are about to be introduced to the newest member of the Welsh family – Kiosk Cledwyn.
Cledwyn is the owner the shop on Castle Gwrych’s grounds, and will be on hand to task our campmates with a series of questions in order to win treats for camp in the Castle Coin challenges.
But we’re sure Kiosk Kev, who he’s replacing from the Australian version, might have a few things to say about it!
Here’s what we new about the newcomer to the show, and how he got his name…
Who is Kiosh Cledwyn?
We currently don’t know the ‘real’ identity of Cledwyn, but the actor is taking on the moody shop owner role that we’ve come to know and love in Kiosk Keith, and then Kiosk Kev.
He takes his name from the late Cledwyn Hughes, a labour politician who had a highly revered career in Wales before his death in 2001 at the age of 84.
Hughes served as Secretary of State for Wales in the late Sixties.
Who were the previous Kiosk owners?
Kiosk Keith was the first straight-faced owner of the Dingo Dollar Shop, and was playied by a man named Raymond Grant.
However, Grant was sacked in 2018, after he was accused of being drunk at work and making inappropriate comments towards a female member of the team.
Last year, we were introduced to Kiosk Kev – who was actually named Mark Herlaar, and had previously appeared on the Australian version of Survivor.
When he’s not guarding a kiosk, he works as a lime farmer with his wife in Toowoomba, Queensland.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
