Inside skint Katie Price's 'thrifty' Christmas celebrations with freebie panto tickets and gifts… but she still splashed out £4,000 on kids' pressies

Katie, 40, splashed £4,000 on pressies for Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, five Bunny and Jett, four, but she's blagged much more for festive trimmings.

Closer magazine reports that she is planning a massive house party in her messy mansion in a bid to deliver a "special" day for her family and has lined up loads of freebies.

A source said: "Katie knows she may have to sell the house to get her finances under control so she wants to make this Christmas the most special yet – especially as it may be the last one she spends with her mum.

"She's blagged a load of gifts for the kids, as well as tickets to shows and pantomimes and her friend is coming over to help cook a huge meal with all the trimmings.

"She'll follow that with a big party to thank her family and friends for their support over the past few months."

The cash-strapped star recently had to borrow £22,000 from a pal to avoid being declared bankrupt.

Closer's insider added: "Money may be tight but she insists she doesn't care and will have one last blowout over Christmas.

"Then she will be tightening her belt in the new year."

Also on the agenda is a new year getaway with personal trainer boyfriend Kris Boyson.

The source explains: "She's adamant she'll begin 2019 on a positive note and can start to put the hellish year behind her."

Katie was pictured grappling with rolls upon rolls of wrapping paper as she attempted to load up her pink £75,000 Range Rover with purchases for the kids.

After running out of space in the boot, the former Loose Women star had to resort to squeezing them onto the backseat – though even those gifts looked at risk of spilling out.

The ex-glamour model had to enlist her the help of store staff and her assistant as she piled six trolleys with presents for the kids.

Scooters, doll houses and karaoke machines were just some of the luxury toys the star splurged on.

Toys even looked at risk of falling out of the car doors.
